Double Helix Reflection > |
Suspense was the main theme in the book. Every chapter end: suspense.
-If this book had a sequel, what would it be about? --I think it would be about tracking down Dr. Wyatt, Eli dealing with Kayla's disease, Vivian and Eli getting married, Kayla possibly dying, and Dr. Wyatt becoming arrested. -Do you like this genre? --As long as it doesn't talk about dissecting animals, I like this genre. -Did you like this book? --Yes, I do, because it's suspenseful and filled with science. I don't really like science, but I like this book in particular. I really enjoyed the book: Double Helix because it's very suspenseful (which I like) and it's filled with disease ridden people (well, I don't really enjoy that, but, I like to see how the other characters handle the problems about the disease). |
I guess I did meet my goal of writing more because of NanoWrimo. I think (for next trimester) that I should read more challenging books. Books that interest me, not that I'm forced to read.

I think the cryptography unit was easy at the beginning, but then hard at the end.
The challenge level was very appropriate. My classmates and I had troubles with decrypting and encrypting the ciphers.
It could be better by having easy parts, but I guess it was supposed to be hard for STELM.
I think I did my best work. My teacher said that I had to do a binary code or else I would get a zero, so I did it right away. It was actually really easy!
I like binary codes (AND, OR, and XOR) because it was quite challenging but fun.
Yes, in the real world, there are going to be problems, and there's usually going to be an answer. You can get help from
others, but they can't always tell you the answers. Sometimes, you have to solve your own problems.
I think I was successful throughout the unit because I got a nice grade on all of my cryptography assessments.
